What is a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.)?

  • PMI R.E.P.s are organisations that PMI has approved to offer training in project management and issue professional development units (PDUs) to meet the continuing education requirements needed by PMI credential holders.
  • To earn the R.E.P. designation, a provider must meet or exceed rigorous standards for quality and effectiveness as defined by PMI.
  • Today, more than 1,500 R.E.P.s offer courses in over 80 countries. R.E.P. organisations include commercial training providers, colleges and universities, corporations, government and state agencies.
  • PMI Does not guarantee the success of every R.E.P. training activity. However PMI carefully reviews all R.E.P.s every three years to ensure they meet quality criteria.
